Applying Regaine®

Regaine® are easy to use but for the best results, it’s important to apply them correctly and make it a part of your daily routine. Whichever product you choose, you need to apply it once in the morning and once in the evening about half an hour before you go to bed.

We also make a gentle, non-silicon based shampoo called Pregaine® which complements Regaine® products by cleaning your hair effectively without preventing your treatment from being absorbed. Have a butcher's at our Do's and Don'ts for some helpful hairy hints.

How to apply it
First, make sure your hair and scalp are completely dry. Using your preferred applicator, apply a single 1ml dose to the scalp where your hair is thinning. Massage it lightly into the affected area and leave the solution to dry. You can then comb and style your hair as normal. After using Regaine®, remember to wash your hands. There, easy isn't it?

You need to apply Regaine® twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening, leaving roughly 12 hours between applications. It's best to do it about half an hour before going to bed to give it time to dry properly.

While you're still getting used to using Regaine®, please be sure to follow the instructions every time.

Choosing the right applicator
There are three applicators to choose from and it may take a few attempts to work out which one suits you best. Here are a few tips that should help:

Choose Applicator
Question time
"Why do boxes always contain new applicators? Why can't I buy refills?"

"Should I rub Regaine® into my scalp or just apply it?"
