"How soon will it start to work?"
Clinical studies have shown that if there is a response to the use of Regaine® Regular Strength
or NEW Regaine® for Men Gel regrowth can occur as early as 16 weeks. If you use
Regaine® Extra Strength you may start to see results after 16 weeks. However, everyone is
different and will respond in their own way. You should also remember that it could take up to 12 months to see your best results
so it's worth being patient.
When you start using Regaine®, you may notice a temporary increase in hair loss in the first 2-6
weeks. This is entirely normal - it shows that your hair is shifting from a dormant phase to an
active growing phase.
You can also consider using our gentle, non-silicon based shampoo called Pregaine®
which complements our Regaine® products by cleaning your hair effectively without preventing your treatment from being absorbed.

"How long should I keep using Regaine®?"
You should keep using Regaine® for as long as you want to maintain the effect. It may take several
months for you to see the results at first. If you've been following our
Do's and Don'ts properly and you still don't notice any
difference within 12 months, Regaine® probably isn't right for you so you should stop using it.

"What if I accidentally spill some on my face?"
Wash it off with lots of cool water straight away.

|
"Will I start to grow hair on other parts of my body or my hands?"
As your palms and fingers have no hair follicles, you won't end up with hair there. Otherwise,
it's highly unlikely but unwanted hair growth has been reported after accidental transfer of
Regaine® from the scalp to other parts of the body. For this reason it's important you only apply
Regaine® to the scalp and wash your hands thoroughly afterwards.

"What should I do if I don't notice any improvement?"
Depending on whether you are using Regaine® Extra Strength,
Regaine® Regular Strength, or NEW Regaine® for Men Gel
you may begin to see results in 2-6 months. In some cases it may take up to a year. If you've followed all our
Do's and Don'ts but you still haven't noticed a difference after this time, you should stop using it.

|
"What should I look for as a sign that Regaine® is working?"
If Regaine® works for you, you should begin to notice that you're losing much less hair. You might
even begin to see new hair growth which may be soft, downy and lighter in colour than the rest of
your hair. Over time, this hair should thicken and blend in with rest of your crop.

"What happens if I stop using Regaine®? Will I keep my new hair?”
No. Reports and studies have shown that if treatment is stopped, you will not only lose the hair
that grew back, but will most likely go back to your previous pattern of hair loss. But if you
stop using Regaine®, you won't be worse off than before.

|
"Can I switch from Regaine® Regular Strength or Regaine® for Men Gel to Regaine® Extra Strength?"
Absolutely. You can switch at any time but it might take a couple of months to see if Regaine® Extra Strength works better for you.
